Today the kids went to a birthday party where they had a TON of fun. At first I was afraid it would rain but it turned out to be beautiful. It wasn't too sunny and hot, there was an awesome breeze and it was outside on some pretty property. The kids were able to ride horses, practice roping, play on the swing set, play soccer and even play with the neighbors dogs. Oh, we even got to pick some pears from the pear tree.
I have to say Heather, I really enjoyed the party and I know for sure the kids had a BLAST! I still think you are totally crazy for not wanting to live out there. I would do it in a heart beat!!!
Now, don't laugh at me on the horse. I am so not a horse rider. I think they are pretty and would love to have one to LOOK AT. But I don't ride . . . I am scared of them! I really think I don't trust them.
The 4th picture is of Avery with her girlfriends, Reagan and Caroline.
The last picture is Avery and Caroline. They finally got the guts to ride together without mama.

EVERY year on my birthday I wished for a horse when I blew out the candles. Yeah, I grew up in a neighborhood.... would've broken like 10 covenants. I told Keith the other day when we moved out to the country that I wanted to get a horse and he laughed at me and said, "You just want someone else to take care of it, right?"
